finished watching an inconvenient truth for the second time... it clicks... how alarming it is that we so often conveniently embrace ignorance... as if its some sort of explanation for a stagnant state-of-being and lack of action... this resistance to knowledge and understanding is quite disgraceful... it saddens me...
...why do we resist knowlege that calls for action?... action that would better the world we have been given to reside... action that would help create positive waves of conservation... actions that would reflect our appreciation and gratitude for life and those that are to follow behind us... how can we keep going as we have been?.. living in ways that bring forth our destruction...
what will it take for humanity to wake up and fight?... fight for positive change... fight for life... fight for love... fight b/c you won't sit back and remain in the dark any longer... b/c you value the life you've been given... you value humanity and the only place we have to call home.... embracing passion fed by the empowerment of choice, the power to choose actions that bring forth positive change... behaviors resulting in positive outcomes.. not allowing the truth to stir up fear, but looking it in the face and taking it on...
what price are you paying for ignorance? is it worth the cost?...
