Reading Brother Lawrence... amazing how you can feel such connection with someone from so long ago (1600)... different worlds, yet a common thread of humanity...stirs me to life amidst my regular ins and outs of my day(s)...I savor his words in Practicing the Presence of God... truth in simplicity... a mystical comfort.
